Mission
To worship and praise the Lord in spirit and in truth with the gifts that he has bestowed upon us. It is our desire to reach all of God’s people and set the atmosphere for a dynamic praise experience. True worship is more than just a sound, it is indeed a lifestyle.
The music ministry is comprised of anointed, devoted and wonderfully well rounded individuals that have a desire to praise our Lord and Savior with songs of praise and worship. We come out twice a week to practice and have a great time in the presence of God. God is doing a wonderful work through our ministry to provide a three-fold blessing:
A blessing to those within the ministry engaged in praise, fellowship, and encouragement
A blessing to members and visitors during regular Sunday and Wednesday services as we help to usher in the spirit
A blessing to those in other churches and in the community as we glorify God at events around the metro Washington DC area. and beyond
Gospel Choir
The Gospel Choir serves as an instrument of praise to God, through the preparation and ministering of Traditional & Contemporary Gospel Music on the third Sunday of each month.

Mass Choir
This choir is a combination of all other choirs under the Music Ministry. The Mass Choir provides songs of worship on the 2nd and 5th Sunday of each month.

The main purpose, function and ultimate goal of the praise & worship team is to help usher in the spirit, lead the congregation in song, and set the proper atmosphere for the Word of God to come forth. The Praise and Worship team brings forth praises every Sunday.

Youth Choir
The Youth Choir helps children ages 4 to 19 develop an appreciation for praise, and a spirit of commitment toward ministry involvement. Our youth exhibit a high level of excitement as they bring forth praise, through contemporary gospel selections and praise movement, every month on Youth Sunday.

In order to carry out the mission that God has put before this ministry, we will continue to labor and meditate on the word of God, be Kingdom minded individual’s, grow in number, and minister to the people of God. We are also looking to conduct/ attend vocal and music workshops to ensure a more affective praise experience.
